Marketing Specialist / Administrator, 1,28/2008

Ignite Excellence Inc., a training and development company (www.igniteexcellence.com), is hiring a full-time Marketing Specialist / Administrator.  We are looking for a creative person who is personable, proactive and wants to be a key player of a growing training and development company. Responsibilities include:

Conceptualize, draft, edit, create, and proof a range of marketing, sales, and training documents.  This position will also be responsible to help create our new website and our internet communication strategy amongst other new initiatives. The applicant should have at least 5 years experience with web marketing, internet features, and design tools. Including in MS Office; Outlook; PowerPoint; Adobe Photo Shop; Flash; email blast software; Excel, and ability to create audio and visual presentation. In addition this person will be responsible for administrative training and development requirements, including organizing, speaking with clients and designing PowerPoint presentations. 

Skills:

Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal, French would be a bonus. Detailed oriented with strong organization skills. A team player who is able to work independently. 

Education: Post secondary in basic web and graphic design

Umbra designs, manufactures and distributes a collection of housewares and giftwares with intelligent and affordable design as the focus.  This award winning Toronto-based company is currently looking for an experienced Web Developer for a 6-month contract.  This position will be responsible for program support and modifications to corporate websites and other web-based applications written in Java, ASP and JavaScript. This role requires participation in all phases of the Web Applications Development Life Cycle, as well as, providing assistance to
all Marketing web-based initiatives. Webmaster / Internet Marketing Specialist, 1/22/2008

Christian international relief agency (www.crossinternational.org) is hiring a full-time Internet marketing specialist to manage websites and direct its Internet-based fund-raising efforts, which will include the development of new websites.  Applicants must be willing to relocate to South Florida headquarters and should have at least 3 years of experience with web marketing and modern Internet features and design tools, including those used in audio and video presentations.  Applicants must demonstrate experience with HTML, CSS and Flash.  Writing skills beneficial – some minor copy writing may be involved.  Position offers salary, medical benefits and more.  Organization plans to add assistant-level support for this position within 16-18 months.
